Boy was today a doozy! Lisa and I both felt like things weren't flowing, too much too soon. Thankfully we are both honest and open people so we talked through things and re-planned the next few days. We need to spend more time on expectations and routines, teambuilding, and getting to know each other. I felt like the kids already knew each other so there was no need to spend too much time on that. I also felt that because so many kids had Lisa last year as their teacher that they would just know what to do. You know what they say about assumptions;)
I am sitting at home, not loading pictures onto the blog, not looking at the google doc students started answering today, not worrying about tomorrow. I feel like I need to slow my mind down, take some time for me, and then be ready for a restart tomorrow!
I will definitely get some pics up tomorrow night...there are some good ones!
